VBX accepts live MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 streams from VBrick MPEG appliances (and from VBrick Video On Demand Server), converts that live video to Windows Media  format (.wmv)  without doing any disk operations or analog-to-digital conversion, and delivers the live stream to web viewers worldwide!   VBX is a true digital transcoder that preserves image quality by eliminating the need to decode video to analog and then re-encode it for web streaming.
