Ruggedized Encoder Appliance-VBSSM
The
VBSSM-MP2 and VBSSM-MP4 are MPEG video-only encoders
ideal for security and surveillance monitoring
applications, where full motion, high quality video is
required in a cost effective product. The VBSSM is a
compact, rugged and reliable video network appliance
that supports temperture ranges from -20 to 70°C. The
VBSSM encoder accepts NTSC/PAL video, compresses it in
realtime and transmits the video digitally over an IP
network. The video is then displayed on TV monitors
using numerous MPEG decoders, set top boxes or on PCs
through desktop decoder software, such as VBrick's
StreamPlayer.
The VBSSM-MP2 is an
MPEG-2 based ruggedized video encoder. It provides full
motion DVD quality video that can be displayed on PCs or
