Today’s LCD projectors
are designed to be
light, bright, and
versatile and we offer a
full range to meet your
needs.
LCD projectors use 1 of
4 basic LCD panel
resolutions: VGA, SVGA,
XGA, and SXGA.
Respectively these
translate to 640 x 480,
800 x 600, 1024 x 768,
and 1280 x 1024 pixels.
The higher the pixel
count, the better the
LCD projector’s
resolution.
They also offer a wide
range of light output
and size/weight
combinations from which
to choose. These
projectors go up to 5200
lumens light output and
from under 5 pounds to
over 35 pounds. For
portable use, any unit
up to 15 or 16 pounds
fits the bill. Larger
venue units weigh from
20 to 35 pounds and are
not designed for
portable use. We
consider LCD projectors
with 1000 lumens to be
the minimum needed for
most presentations.
When considering which
projector to choose,
please keep this in
mind, the lowest cost
unit is not always the
best for the job. In LCD

do get your money’s
worth.
